The Life of a MUA

Hello Beauties!

Whew this past weekend was crazy busy!!! I loved every minute of it. I was talking to my PR rep and I was telling her about some of my projects and classes that I've been working on and she thought I should share it with the world. I'm trying to get better about this blogging business!

Anyway, like I said this weekend was jam packed with things to do. I was honored to work on a wedding with a bridal party of 6. Doing 6 faces can be exhausting but imagine only having 2 hours to do them! That was my challenge. I happily accepted it and stepped up to the plate. It was awesome. Of course some took longer and others were shorter but in general I was able to get it done. Let's just say the adrenaline was pumping and by the time I got home I was exhausted. Two margaritas later and I was ready to crash. (I also had some regular waxing clients at the studio after the wedding)

Sunday it was time to wake up and do it again. I had two girls who were competing in a regional Miss Teen pageant. One girl (Bri) came in as a runner up! I can't wait to work with them again on another pageant. Once I was done with them, I had to run out to Sarah Elizabeth Photography & Design's studio in Alexandria, Ohio to do makeup for a boudoir photoshoot. Those shoots are always fun because you get to do very sexy and sultry makeup and make everyday women look and feel glamorous.

Once I was done there, I had to shoot to a MUA meeting for the Spring into Beauty fashion show taking place on May 4, 2013. I'll be doing the looks for the Curvy Couture Boutique. The proceeds are going to benefit Central Ohio Men Against Prostate Cancer (COMAPC). Show your support and get your tickets at www.springintobeauty.eventbrite.com
